Bio
Sean Eddy is a North Texas solo performer with 25 years of professional live experience, including touring, opening slots, festivals, and listening rooms. He plays country, blues, and rock, especially 90s rock, with covers from George Strait and Johnny Cash to Eric Clapton and the Goo Goo Dolls. Using live looping, foot percussion on a homemade suitcase drum, and his own guitar arrangements, he gets a full-band sound out of one player, building songs in real time right in front of the crowd.
Sean is also the lead singer and drummer for The Calmwood Collective, a country and blues rock band, and a multi-instrumentalist and singer in The Eddys, a duo with his wife, Alisha.
From a quiet listening room to a festival stage, Sean reads the room and fits his set to the crowd.
Projects
- Sean Eddy Music — solo (country/blues emphasis; southern, classic, and 90s rock)
- The Calmwood Collective — band (country and blues rock)
- The Eddys — duo with Alisha (mostly 90s rock/pop, plus Beatles / MJ / Journey-type material)
Live configurations
Tell us the room and crowd — we’ll match the setup.
Solo acoustic
Most common setup. Traditional acoustic plus live looping for a full-band sound from one player — layering drum beats, bass lines, and rhythm guitar, then singing and playing lead over the loops. Crowds stay engaged watching songs get built in real time. Flexible to what the audience is into.
Multi-instrument live-looping
Full-band sound with drums, electric guitar, bass, and advanced looping — including full kit or homemade suitcase drums, hand percussion, and vocal looping. Best for larger stages and crowds who dig watching music get built. Highly engaging in the right room.

Tech rider (solo)
Three setups to fit the room. Sean can also provide his own PA for most indoor rooms and small to mid-size outdoor crowds.
1. Self-contained
- Battery-powered PA, acoustic guitar, vocal mic, and a compact looping pedalboard
- No house sound, power, or monitor needed. Great for patios, private events, and short sets
- Setup: about 5 minutes
2. Acoustic and looping (2 inputs)
- Guitar and vocal, each sent to front of house (FOH) on its own line
- Monitor: one wedge, or an XLR monitor send for Sean’s wired in-ears
- Setup: 2–5 minutes. Teardown: about 5 minutes
3. Full looping rig
- Suitcase drum, multiple guitars, and a Loopy Pro rig, run through Sean’s own Behringer XR18 mixer
- To FOH: one mixed feed, or split into separate guitar, percussion, vocal, and loop lines
- Monitor: Sean brings his own wired in-ears, so no house monitor is needed
- Setup: about 30 minutes. Teardown: about 5 minutes
Power (when Sean provides sound)
At least 2 power outlets for the speakers. Sean runs his own power strip for the rest of his gear.
